Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern the website, native plugin for OBS Studio, ClipXtudio Hub, StreamXtudio multistream, unified chat and overlays, Free and Pro features, Remote Clipper, add-ons, AI credits, referrals, personalized consulting, licensing, checkout, support and related services. By installing, accessing, purchasing or using ClipXtudio, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must have legal capacity to accept this agreement. A person completing paid checkout confirms that they are at least 18 years old and authorized to use the payment method.

2. Product and third parties

ClipXtudio is a native plugin designed for OBS Studio. OBS Studio, Stripe, streaming platforms, AI providers and integrations are independent third parties governed by their own terms. ClipXtudio is not endorsed by or affiliated with them unless expressly stated.

ClipXtudio generates clips exclusively in 9:16 format. Previous horizontal or dual-output options have been retired, and current commands, settings and exports are processed as one 9:16 clip.

Compatibility depends on supported OBS, operating-system, encoder, driver and hardware versions.

YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Instagram and other destinations are independent services. Connecting YouTube API Services also means your use is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account, billing and support information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting credentials, license information and authorized devices.

Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, disclosure of a license key or misuse of your account.

4. Free and Pro licenses

Free may be used without a paid subscription, subject to displayed limits, including one Voice Trigger phrase and one input and the available local features. Pro requires an active license and subscription or another entitlement issued by ClipXtudio and unlocks the features and allowance stated by the plan.

Unless a plan states otherwise, a license permits one active device. You may not sell, share, sublicense, publish or bypass a license key or feature gate. Device resets and transfers remain subject to policy and abuse controls.

5. Subscriptions and promotions

Monthly and annual Pro plans renew automatically at the price and interval shown during checkout until canceled. Promotional pricing applies only for its stated period or billing cycles; afterward renewal occurs at the disclosed regular price unless canceled.

Prices may exclude required taxes. Future pricing may change with advance notice where required, but a change does not alter a completed billing period.

The included AI-analysis quantity, devices, term, features and limits depend on the selected variant. Changing quantity or interval may change the price and subscription, which will be shown before confirmation.

6. Payment, cancellation and refunds

Stripe processes payments. You authorize Stripe and ClipXtudio to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees, applicable taxes and authorized plan changes.

You may cancel through the customer portal or supported account flow. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally preserves access through the paid period. Refunds are provided only when required by law or expressly offered at purchase.

AI-credit packs are separate purchases for requested analyses. Purchased credits do not expire while the account remains available, are used after the monthly allowance and may be reversed for a refund, chargeback, fraud or correction. Except where required by law, used credits are non-refundable.

7. Failed payments and expiration

If payment fails, Pro may continue during a configured grace period. When that period ends, or a subscription becomes canceled, unpaid, revoked or otherwise inactive, the plugin returns to Free. Existing local clips are not intentionally deleted because Pro access ends.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of media, clips, transcripts, captions and other content you create. You grant ClipXtudio limited permission to process content only to deliver a feature you request, such as support or AI generation.

You are responsible for permissions needed to record, process and publish people, music, gameplay, chat, trademarks and other third-party material.

Remote Clipper temporarily uploads requested files so authorized participants can download them. You are responsible for inviting only trusted people and for closing sessions or removing access when appropriate.

9. AI-generated results

Local scores are heuristic signals. AI titles, captions, subtitles, summaries, scores and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable or fail to predict performance on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another platform. Review all results before publication. AI output is not legal, professional or platform-compliance advice.

Cloud analysis starts only when you request caption generation or analysis. A successful completion consumes one included or additional unit; a failure releases the reservation. Availability, limits, models and providers may change. Do not submit content you lack authority to process.

10. Remote Clipper and add-ons

Remote Clipper lets an owner invite editors and send commands to a connected plugin. Remote add-ons are services separate from Pro, with their own seats, limits, price, renewal and status shown at purchase.

Commands depend on internet access, OBS, Replay Buffer, plugin availability and temporary storage. Remote files normally expire within 24 hours and must not be treated as backups. The owner controls invitations and is responsible for activity by authorized participants.

11. Referrals and rewards

Referral programs may award points, Pro access or billing extensions under the displayed rules. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable and may require registration, verification or an eligible account.

ClipXtudio may reject or reverse self-referrals, duplicate accounts, automation, fraud, chargebacks or manipulation. The program and thresholds may change or end with reasonable notice without removing rewards already applied, except for abuse or error.

12. Personalized consulting

Streaming consulting is an independent service whose price, scope and any Pro bonus are shown before payment. It includes only the work described in the confirmed offer; hardware, third-party services, designs or additional revisions not listed are outside scope.

You must provide reasonable access, information and availability to coordinate the session. Results depend on your hardware, internet, platforms and cooperation. Rescheduling, cancellation, refund and bonus terms follow what was shown at purchase and applicable law. Completing setup does not guarantee audience, revenue or streaming performance.

13. Acceptable use

You may not use ClipXtudio to:

• Violate law, privacy, publicity, copyright, platform rules or third-party rights.
• Distribute malware, attack services, probe security, evade rate limits or interfere with other users.
• Extract private keys, forge tokens or bypass subscription, license and device controls, except where law expressly permits interoperability work.
• Resell the service, share licenses or operate automated abuse without written permission.
• Upload unlawful, deceptive, abusive or confidential content without authority.
• Scrape a platform, circumvent its API restrictions, connect accounts without authorization, expose private chat for surveillance or harassment, or rebroadcast content without the required rights.

14. Intellectual property and feedback

ClipXtudio software, interface, branding, documentation and service technology belong to their operator or licensors. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the product under your plan.

Suggestions may be used to improve the product without obligation, while your underlying content remains yours.

15. Updates and availability

ClipXtudio may deliver security fixes, compatibility changes, features or retirements. Some updates may be required for online or Pro services. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate material changes.

Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, internet failures, OBS changes and hardware limitations may affect operation.

Streaming-platform APIs, scopes, quotas, policies and access may change or be suspended by their providers. ClipXtudio may limit or retire an affected integration to remain compliant or secure.

16. Beta use and backups

Pre-release features may contain defects and change without notice. Do not rely on ClipXtudio as the only copy of important recordings. Keep backups and test updates before a critical production or broadcast.

17. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted for fraud, payment disputes, security risk, unlawful conduct, license abuse or material breach. Where reasonable, notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue will be provided.

You may stop using the product and cancel at any time. Terms concerning payments due, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and disputes survive when applicable.

18. Disclaimers, liability and disputes

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ClipXtudio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that every clip will be captured, that triggers or AI will identify the best moments, or that every OBS version, plugin, codec, driver or platform will be compatible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipXtudio and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost content, revenue, missed clips, interrupted or misconfigured broadcasts, delayed or missing chat messages, platform enforcement, or disclosure caused by sharing a private overlay URL. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount paid for ClipXtudio during the twelve months before the claim. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Applicable law and venue depend on the operating entity and mandatory consumer protections. Before filing a formal claim, contact legal@clipxtudio.com and allow a reasonable opportunity for informal resolution.

19. StreamXtudio, connected chat and overlays

StreamXtudio initiates separate outputs from OBS to destinations you choose. You are responsible for valid stream keys, titles, bitrate, resolution, bandwidth, hardware capacity, platform limits, permissions and monitoring. Simultaneous horizontal and vertical outputs can materially increase CPU, GPU and network use. Test before a critical broadcast.

Connecting Twitch, YouTube or Kick authorizes ClipXtudio to read the account and chat data covered by the scopes shown by that provider. You remain responsible for channel moderation, viewer notices, privacy obligations and the right to display chat content on-stream. Connected chat is not an archive or guaranteed moderation service; messages may be delayed, duplicated or unavailable because of connectivity, quotas, webhooks or provider changes.

The chat window may open automatically when a compatible stream begins, but this is a convenience and not proof that every platform connection is active. The overlay URL is a confidential bearer link. Keep it private, rotate it if exposed, and remove it from scenes or recordings when no longer needed.

ClipXtudio does not guarantee that a platform will accept or maintain a stream, that a broadcast will be uninterrupted, or that an API integration will remain available. You must comply with the rules and terms of every connected destination.

20. Changes and contact

These Terms may be updated for product, security, provider or legal changes. Material updates will carry a new effective date and notice where required. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance unless separate consent is legally required.
